Fall Foliage Tour 2025

This year’s tour met in the Service Area of the Maine Turnpike (Exit 102) in West Gardiner. We departed around 10 a.m., heading east. We followed a circuitous route covering side roads and towns  less frequented one of which was Appleton. More exact a stop on Appleton Ridge. Our destination was Mt. Battie in the Camden Hills State Park. 23 folks in 14 Volvos made the tour and the sun fortunately came out when we arrived making the day complete! We had a great fall day, sun, a little sea breeze, and peak foliage according to the State of Maine report. To a person, the 28 folks that were carried in 14 vehicles to the top of Mt. Battie would agree!
